QUOTE OF THE DAY : " Thats why Zimbabweans now jokingly refer to Gono as a mere teaboy of RSA Reserve Bank Chief Tito Mboweni and Fed Chairman Bernanke. So to have grown ups like the perennial election loser , Patrick Chinamasa claiming that Gono is going nowhere defies logic " - GMRI CAPITAL SENIOR POLITICAL ANALYST - GARIKAI CHIMUKA

Senior MDC-T officials who are holding ministerial portfolios and top party positions have been lined up for elimination by ZANU PF prior to the elections after the expiry of the all-inclusive government.

A reliable source who is member of the central intelligence organization (CIO) confirmed this to the Zimbabwe Telegraph.

According to the operative based at the Hardwicke House, top on the hit list is the current Finance Minister Tendai Biti widely believed to be the leading the MDC’s strategy think tank.

The Zimbabwe Telegraph source pointed out that after the demise of Learnmore Jongwe and departure of Welshman Ncube Biti had managed to provide MDC and Morgan Tsvangirai effective strategy to defy ZANU -PF .

Other officials that are reportedly on the hit list include the party president and prime minister Morgan Tsvangirai, deputy prime Minister Thokozani Khupe, the minister for Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) Nelson Chamisa, co-Home Affairs Minister Giles Mutsekwa .

The operative said that the covet plan is meant to decimate the MDC especially of the so-called foul-mouthed , movers and shakers before the elections expected within the next 24 months.

The plan is to decimate MDC leadership well before the election campaign as there are fears that the elections may be monitored by the International community which will make it hard to rig or use violence during the election period.

“If you recall, the accident that befell Tsvangirai along Beatrice Road was meant to eliminate the duo of Biti and Morgan himself.

It was unfortunate that the plot was unsuccessful as the driver of the killer truck failed to execute well his task that left the former trade unionist alive, much to the disappointment of the ZANU PF,” he said.

He said that Tsvangirai and his party should realize that they are still in the Joint Operations Command’s elimination plan.

Nelson Chamisa the MDC spokesman was not reachable and finance minister Tendai Biti’s cellular was ringing without a response.

It has also emerged that Air Marshal Perrence Shiri was not shot at the Bindura bridge as is widely claimed.

The Zimbabwe Telegraph source claims it was a diversionary tactic meant to incriminate the MDC and donors who are seen as supporting the opposition.

With his disguise plot, he is still bandaged four months down the line yet the nation was told that the shooting was a minor incident. Shiri recently emerged to public light still in a bandage*
